Attributions
The skills and tools you can choose from on FlexPerts are drawn from two published classifications. Both are used under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International licence, which asks us to say so, to link the licence, and to say that we have changed the material.
ESCO — skills and knowledge
This product includes information from ESCO v1.2.1 (European Skills, Competences, Qualifications and Occupations) by the European Commission, used under the CC BY 4.0 licence. FlexPerts has modified the information — skill names and their alternative labels are stored in our own format, each skill is shown under a display name of our own wording, and a category is derived from ESCO’s hierarchy; the European Commission has not approved or endorsed these modifications.
O*NET — software and tools
This product includes information from the O*NET 31.0 Database by the U.S. Department of Labor, Employment and Training Administration (USDOL/ETA). Used under the CC BY 4.0 license. O*NET® is a trademark of USDOL/ETA. FlexPerts has modified all or some of this information. USDOL/ETA has not approved, endorsed, or tested these modifications.
DB-IP — IP geolocation
When we count visits to our public pages, the country of each visit is looked up in the IP Geolocation by DB-IP IP to Country Lite database, used unchanged under the CC BY 4.0 licence. The network address a visit comes from is used for that lookup and is not stored.
What we changed, in detail, is recorded with the data itself. Neither source has any part in how a match is suggested; they supply names for skills, nothing more. Questions about either notice can go to us through the contact page.
